Accommodation, catering etc.
Foreign students are housed in the University’s Residence Halls, in double occupancy rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Accommodation in single rooms is usually not available.
Generally it is also relatively easy to hire an apartment privately. Students can use either the cafeteria in the Law Faculty building, or in dormitory area.
The Law Library, located in the Faculty building, is the most extensive and modern law Library in the country. It stocks a wide range of specialist periodicals and journals, monographs and textbooks, both Czech and foreign. The library is open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. during weekdays and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Wireless internet connection is available in the whole building of the Law Faculty. The Faculty of Law frequently holds public lectures given by distinguished guests, international symposia etc. open to the whole academic community. Additionally, there are other in-door facilities in the Faculty building ready for use, such as a fitness and a basic sport centre.
