Upon completion, participants will understand the process of applying research results in
practice, be familiar with various methods and outcomes of science application in practice and
be able to explain to a layperson the usefulness of their research.

Various Career Pathways in Research – Mon, Dec 2 at 3 PM

The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with an overview that will enable them to
make informed decisions about their career paths after completing their PhD. Should they stay
in academia or go elsewhere? What types of jobs and positions are available?
